Globesailing is one of the leading nautical instructors in Switzerland. What began more than 20 years ago with a motorboat on Lake Zurich is now a sailing and motorboat school with locations in Zurich, Zug, Solothurn and St. Moritz. We have trained over 7,000 ‘landlubbers’ to become experienced inland waterway skippers, and many hundreds of ocean-going skipper careers have started on our courses. Since 2010, we have had a workshop with a large outdoor area for overhauling, maintaining and winterising yachts. What for most people is a hobby, we have turned into our profession: we put our heart and soul, commitment and enthusiasm into it!
We are thoroughbred sailors and motorboaters. We have spent countless hours on inland waterways and travelled thousands of nautical miles at sea - always with passion and great pleasure. We pass on our knowledge and experience to our students with the same passion and pleasure. It is important to us not only to ‘get you through the exam’, but also to train you to become a confident and responsible skipper.
We organise the training to suit you – your wishes, your possibilities and your current level of training. Whether course time or course location: whenever possible, we organise the training in a way that suits you best – flexible, targeted and individually tailored to you. Of course, we are always happy to answer any questions you may have about sailing and motor boating before, during or after the course.
We are a typical family business and therefore attach great importance to a familiar atmosphere on board our boats and in our courses. We want you to feel at home with us at all times. The Globesailing ‘family’ already has over 5,000 customers. It goes without saying that we also cultivate a relaxed, informal atmosphere - always with mutual respect.
