Our sailing school boats are available for hire to our students, customers and anyone else who is interested. Even without a sailing licence, you can gain your first sailing experience with our Yngling boat. Sailing students can practise and consolidate what they have already learnt on their own. Our J70 is also available to holders of a sailing licence for wonderful sailing on Lake Zurich. You will receive a thorough introduction to both boats when you hire them for the first time.
Sailing licence (D licence) required
The J70 is a sporty keelboat. Due to its low overall weight, the seven metre long boat has exceptionally good gliding characteristics and a high speed potential even in light winds. It is nevertheless stable and easy to handle. The J70 can only be hired by sailors who have attended an intensive introductory course. The boat is provided and returned by Globesailing. The harbour of departure and return is Zurich Enge.

No sailing licence required
The Yngling is a one-design keelboat. It was designed in 1967 by the Norwegian Jan Linge as a smaller version of the Soling. He designed a light and easy-to-handle keelboat. It is suitable for younger sailors who have already sailed dinghies and want to gain their first experience in a keelboat class, as well as for experienced and ambitious regatta sailors. Thanks to its safe design, the Yngling is also a very ideal boat for leisure sailors, especially for families.
